Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers shape their initial thoughts about your house and how you keep up your house's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this helps us to choose what steps we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with touched up paint and colorful garden plants we'll need to tackle those as well. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers see themselves lounging in your living room, unwinding in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting changes that highlight the features of your home.
I'll suggest that you eliminate pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Knickknacks, sentimental items, family photos, and play time works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "de-personalize" the place so buyers can see it as their new place.
I'll look over each room of your home. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use polishing, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively affect the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your house has mass appeal and that it's welcoming, staying away from "loud" or "personalized" shades on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can consider renting furnishings. You want your place to look inviting as opposed to deserted.

Setting the Stage
The entire time your house in on the market, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Lighting is critical and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look around your home and assure a pleasant aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your chairs and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your home is their future home. |
